We are proud to have recently completed our second high street retail shopfitting project for Biscuiteers. The ‘Biscuit Boutique & Icing Café’, in Battersea, London, required a quick turnaround and high-end bespoke service including demolishment, re-build, project-management, electricity/lighting, walls, ceilings and a full fit out of the 94m² site.
The project, designed by CantorMasters Interior Design, involved up to 42 people on site at any one time, bespoke joinery, solid checkered tile flooring, specialist benching, wall panelling, upholstery, 78 antique style lights, and a specialist decorating service. A bubble gum candy pink reception desk and 5m Carrera marble top demonstration table were created as centre pieces for the store and to support their high level of customer service and biscuit making workshops.
Launched in 2007, after the publishing of their book ‘The Biscuiteers Book of Iced Biscuits’, Biscuiteers make beautiful, hand-iced biscuits, cakes and chocolates. The first store we fitted for them in Notting Hill in 2010, which boasts David Beckham amongst its customers, has been a huge success and they are thrilled to have opened this second store – part icing school, part boutique and part café – in Northcote Road, Battersea.
